Electronic Climate Control, what's it do?

Cos' the VXR has been delayed I'm looking at any other options I might want to add and am a bit confused by this ECC thingy, now the VXR comes with A/C so what's this ECC do then and is it worth £275?

if its the same as my friends Polo GTi, its actually individual temp control for passenger and driver.......

Depends if you like it cold in teh winter, and someone (passenger seat) prefers it warm/hot

If you set it to 20 degrees it will keep the car at that temperature.

Ie adding hot air or using the aircon when needed

It also keeps the glovebox cool, useful if you want to keep food/drink in it. You also get the updated display panel too.

As lee gsi said, you set the temperature, the system takes care of the rest. Having opted for this £300 extra in my Mk4 I can honestly say I wouldn't want to be without again. I have never had to alter/faff around with any of the settings/controls!!
