    Replacing/Sparying Astra MK4 Bonnet

I found an Astra MK4 1.6 16v Sxi that I really like. 18 inch alloys, bodykit, performance exhaust, lexus lights etc... and its at a decent price.

But...the bonnet needs replacing or a re-spray. Does anyone know how much this should cost me if I did buy it?

Here is a pic of the bonnet:

the problem will be for a repair and spray or a new bonnet is that you will more than likely need o thave the front wings and bumper sprayed in as well to get a decent colour match.

To repair and spray including wings etc has got to be £350-£550 depending on where you go. A new bonnet is going to cost a lot of money £300 ??

You wont need a new bonnet, just preping and spraying.
As MatG says, you'll need the top of the wings spraying and the top aof the bumper to get a good colour match.

£350-£550 is right on the money too.

IIRC i paid £400 for my Mk3 GSi bonnet to be sprayed at a Vauxhall dealer.

Oh god, hmmmmmm im jus thinking whether it's worth it or not. I mean the car is sweet looking and it's just that damn bonnet.

£350 - £550 is a lot of money and I think im going to have to think about it.

another way to look at it would be to get a carbon bonnet? Or similar?
