    Suspension..

Theres some lad selling some -60mm springs which are pretty new for cheap, but they came off a G reg cavalier 2.0 8v. Iv got a 2.0 16v sri mk4 and just wondering if these will fit? He said something about if its a solid back axle they should fit, if its a swing they wont? Is this right and how do i know whats what
Also if they will fit will I get any scrubbing? Its sitting on the standard 16" jobbies...

All help will be much appreciated!

Big thing is that springs are made to match the cars weight
...so whether they fit or not is not really the question.

They may fit fine, as all vauxhall rears are similar...but they will be wrongly 'sprung' for an astra.

Personally I would'nt bother....I would be concerned with safety issues when hurtling round a corner...

....and you should be fine with a 60mm drop on standard 16's
