    converting to air con...?

    Elo,

    anyone know if its possible to convert the mk3 astra to air con?

    It's possible - but the air con system is one of the first things that get installed on the production line. So it's a big job to plumb it all in.

    itll be expensive mate, im sure A/C compressors are about £700 fitted

    i'm thinking of getting all the standard parts 2nd hand?

    just need to know what parts i need...... exactly what parts, not just "more pipes, and etc etc" lol

    There are probably companies out there that will fit aftermaarket AC for you at a cost but to try and get the parts yourself and fit them up probably isn't gonna happen.

    More that likely all the looms on you car will need replacing

    Dammit.......ive been thinking about this too........cant understand my car the blowers are on cool, but my car just keeps getting warmer and warmer......and no i havent got the recirculation button switched on lol.

    yeh you are probabily right...
