    Astra Mk4 Headlights

    Hi All

How do you remove the front headlights without snapping the bottom brackets of the lights , is the only way to remove the front bumper ?

    Thanks

Yeah you have to take off the front bumper, but dont wory its a very easy job. 4 screws in the arches and two plastic pins allong the front support.

You can do it by just undoing the wheel arch screws and teasing of one side of the bumper at a time.

You can also jack the car (then axle stands) and reach up behind the bumper - but you have to know which screw you are looking for.

I've done it this way a few times now.

There should also be 3 'poppers' under the front of the bumper and a couple of screws either side near the fog lamp housing (on the 888 there is anyways) - and don't forget to disconnect the fog lamps too if you have them!
