    disabling a clifford alarm or setting it to run constant valet mode help

    how do iI go about doing this. any idea as the alarm sounder has gone and its just getting in the way now

    Disconnecting is easy just find the main alarm brain under the dash and trace all the wires back to where they are connected. Where one wire joines another in a "Y" connection just disconect it but where 1 wire joines another you will probably find its a immobilisation point so look for another wire where you disconect it of the same colour

    As for valet mode, sure there is a permant one just no idea how t do it on a clifford

    read the instruction booklet.

    on my clifford on my old car it was the bottom 2 buttons to pushed at the same time to set in valet mode.

    this was a 3 button remote.
    it should be the same for the 4 button version.

    4 button remote - Use the '*' & the 'head light' buttons together, this will now turn
    your LED/Valet mode ON, to turn OFF do the same again.

    valet mode on the remote is temporay but I want it on constant so I dont have to keep knocking on every time I turn off the ignition
