Unhappy Mad bad driving has cost me....

    ..£265

just got off the phone to the owner of a red astra MK4 SRI that i accedently hit in a carpark the other week

and its going to cost me £265 to get it fixed.

To be fair tho the bloke was really good about it so it should all be sorted soon and its getting out side of any insurance company which is a good thing considering my excess is £400 its not worth loosing two years no claims over.

but an expensive lesson learnt. Look where your going when parking

It's probably worked out cheaper than paying the increased premimum for two years had you ran it through the insurance. So you've actually saved money

Fair play to sir, for coming clean over this and leaving the note anyway - many wouldn't have.

its a dam sight cheaper doing it this way just wished i had been more careful as now i can't get my lowering springs before trax

I was very supprised at how many people told me that i shouldn't have left a note and if they had hit the car how they would have just driven off

But i'm too honest and live in hope that if someone ever hit my car they would leave a note.

And those will be the first to go off on one, should it happen to them, and no-one leaves a note. They'd get no sympathy from me - selfish buggers.

    Shame about te springs tho
