    Centre Exit Exhaust Mouting

I`m looking into the possibility of fitting a centre exit exhaust when the rear bumper is on and was just wondering if there are any mounting points already in place for fixing it or do new ones have to be fabricated. The reason I ask is because I might have a chance of a custom twin exhaust which already has fixing brackets either side like a standard backbox has.

Lastly, my backbox has a flange fitting but this exhaust for the mk4 astra doesn`t have the flange on the end. Would this be difficult to fit??

I`ve only just put a new exhaust on to replace the last one that rusted in half so this could well be up for sale very shortly if I buy this new one. It`s made by Ashley and is the twin 3" round backback. Will keep you posted.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You would have to make new mounts for the back box, not difficult for a welder. but lloking at the zorst I think you want then the wheel well need scutting away and plating over for strength.
