    Service intervals

Whats the deal with the 2 year service intervals on the Astra H?

Is it just the new oils they are using, or is it a mix of new technology and
    new oils?

Mind you having said this, I'd doubt if they have completely revamped the whole engine range.

Wondering if its just the oil could we make our Astra G's run for two years, obviously for us low milage folk.
    Regard-a-roonies,
    Wilka.

They use Longlife Oil to help improve the service times. The engines are pretty much brand new as well...especially the diesels.
