Hi, it happend about a week ago. was at a take away. picked up the food, drove away, my mate realised they forgot to give him a fork, went back, got the fork, jumped in and the car wouldn't start!! This was the start of a very long night!
the car had to be towed home. we booked it in at vaux for a diagnostic test(cost£80!!!) they told me the fuel pump had gone and a new one would cost £2200 for the part only!! can i pick one up from a breakers or shall i sell the car for parts?? the cars a '99 astra 2.0 di on just under 100,000 miles. the car in working order probabilly isn't worth £2200 forget the labour!
