    Question What is this and what does it do? (pic included)

    Basically my car was in for repair as some of you know - picked it up from the bodyshop this morning, and this was lurking in the boot, never had this in there before, well at least, rolling about on the mat !

    If it must be known, new rear bumper and apron was fitted.

    It comes with the reiger rear apron, no idea what it is for though.

    Having second thought myself now,

    it looks like the giggling pin that secures the gurling rod in a double sprung flange valve.

    Yeah - I think you are right - It looks like its the one for the LHD car - so obviously not required in this instance as the one for the RHD would have been used, and in the main view - is obviously facing the wrong way. - the hook end should be on the right

    That's what threw me - I had to stand on my head to see it in all it's glory.
