    Cheap Motoring

Im planing to look for an alternative way of getting to work, but I dont fancy another car. However, I dont want to go through getting a bike licence, so what choices do I have? and no, dont fancy fancy peddaling either or take public transport

    This is one

Could be quite fun too, but only in the summer

Cheap way to get to work @ £2100 no thanks

Just started to cycle to work myself while the weathers alright, plan is to get used to it over the summer and hopefully carry it on a bit

I can get to work in the same amount of time cycling as I can in the car when the kids are at school

Buy a classic car - pre 1972 are tax exempt, maybe a Landrover diesel, or a practical classic like a moggie 1000, or to keep it Vauxhall - a Viva - (If you say 'I own a viva' quickly enough in the office they will think you said you had a meriva)

    A mini? mini link

All are available in good/usable condition for under the cost of one of the summer only 'gay' road quads.

My moggie 1000 is on classic limited miles insurance = £60 p/annum fully comp,
Free RFL, it doesnt depreciate - it appreciates (although very slowly), leaving the only costs servicing and MOT - get a good one to start with and you are laughing.
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

    2958cc was 175BHP @ 4000rpm, 370Nm (273lb.ft.) @ 1900rpm NOW 230BHP/469Nm (344.9lb/ft)!! www.IUsedToOwnTwoAstras.com
