    Question Astra chassis designation

I've just emailed Whitelines Australia about swaybars for my Astra Coupe and they've given me the following reply:

"Could you please tell me what chassis designation the 2004 UK Astra has, as I think our 2004 astra might be an older design.

Is it know as a “TS”"

How can I find out what chassis designation I have?

I've got the Whiteline ARB and it was bought for the coupe, however it fits ALL the Astra range, hatch, coupe, saloon etc. The rear end design where it fits is the same on all the Astra in my experience. I did a review of the Whiteline ARB when I fitted it, do a search and you can clearly see where and how it fits. Easy job, sounds complicated but 30mins to an hour tops. You'll need a set of ramps however. Get the adjustable version, I'm just about to alter mine to stiffen the back end up a little more. Difference is body roll is VERY apparent, most worthwhile mod I've done on the Astra, handling is vastly improved. Check the parcel when it arrives, I've had 2 package now off Whiteline and both had bits of fitting kits missing, they are REALLY good to deal with, no quibble they'll just send you the new bits but it's annoying having to wait for missing parts to arrive. I'd ask Whiteline to staple the fitting bags to the cardboard as they are heavy and break through the cardboard in transit otherwise.
52 Astra G 1.8, 18" Mille Miglia alloys, 325mm Brembo 4 pot conversion, Coupe leather interior, Raid strut brace, Whiteline rear ARB, Irmscher bits (skirts, Carbon steering wheel, Bonnet extension, M3 mirrors, boot & roof spoiler), Reiger Rear Diffuser & Front Bumper, Koni Adj. dampers, 35/30 Vogtland springs, Duplex quad exit ASCAR stainless exhaust.
