    Shoud be a good 'un - Hope they try a bit harder to keep the weight down.
    My mk4 R32 was brilliant but weighed 1477kg!

    You were't "allowed" to fit a tow bar to the mk4 R32 (said so in the manual) so very much doubt you could in the mk5.
    Shame because with the 4WD and hefty torque, it would tow very well!

    Bummer, would love that Mk5 but need something to be able to tow a trailer soon, ho hum, have to scrub that one then

    Thought about that, but its too much as a daily driver. lovely car but want a nice hatchback not an estate.

    I'd buy that - especially if it is gonna be £23K - beat the live daylights out of the VXR.
    I had a Mk5 Golf for about 4 weeks between feb and march - it was a 1.9tdi se - but i loved it - it felt so well sorted and put together - can only imagine what the GTI is like and then this are the range topper. - Performance, class and quality.

    It'd defo be the five door too - it looks alot better than the 3dr

    They look EXACTLY the same as the new RS4 seats which makes me a bit suspicious of that pic!
