    induction

    whats better de-restrict the airbox or k&n induction kit as i was told an induction kit don't work

    derestrict the airbox m8 new panel filter (K&N, piperX, green, Jetex), been asked plenty of times before

    De-resrict the airbox mate - then while you are there slap in a K&N panel filter rather than go for the induction kit !

    noob question guys - i've just ordered the veccy c pipes - i'm just trying to get my head around the guides on the forum - are the "de-restriction of the airbox" and the "adding the veccy c inlet pipes" one and the same thing?

    Nope, de-restricting the air-box removes all of the piping in the airbox that restircts airflow.

    Fitting the Veccy C pipe gives you a larger air intake.

    It should be quite clear from looking at the How to guides.

    cheers keif much appreciated - my veccy pipes arent in till tuesday so am i ok do the deristriction this weekend and then doingthe veccy pipe bit next week?
