    The Astra's gone

Finally after all the hassles I've had with it, I finally got rid of it Friday, and picked up a mini cooper in it's place!

Loved the car, wish it didn't keep going wrong, but was just costing tooo much! So anyone looking to buy a Astra Coupe Turbo in the Suffolk area from a Vauxhall Dealership (yeah they had a mini in for some reason!) that's titan gold, steer well clear!! it's ****ed!

From about 3 weeks after buying it the engine management light came on, cost me for a new AMM, and all the diagnostics from vauxhall to put it right, then the Turbo started pushing smoke out the back, again back to vauxhall for tests and a new turbo. The engine management light came on again, back to vauxhall, they want some stupid amount for diagnostics and a Lamda sensor. Couldn't afford it so left it, engine management light went off, then started hesitating on boost, grinding when it went in to 3rd from 4th, Engine management light coming on all the time, new exhaust needed, needed servicing, oil leak started, alarm playing up on one of the keys wouldn't let me in the car. Air con needing re-gassing............. Just couldn't be assed to spend all the money it needed!
Think I brought a right dog in the first place!

Only had 51K on the clock for a 2001 51 Plate!
Problems started when I brought it with 36K ont he clock!

Least it's gone! Cooper is a wee bit slower, but still having fun round the country lanes!
