    Heavy clutch....

    Hi,

My clutch has always been heavy on my car since new.... is this normal? Can it be adjusted? Kinda got used to it but my mate borrowed my car and said it was very heavy compared to his. As he drives a similar car it got me thinking....

Take it you didnt have it from new then, is it juddering on taking off ie moving forwards, could be clutch or cable, cable is most common cause tho for it feelin stiff/heavy.

Main dealer maybe best option, especially if its covered still on net Q

It won't be the clutch cable, cos it hasn't got one - it's hydraulic

It would only need bleeding if it felt spongy, not heavy.

Without taking the box out, it's difficult (and costly) to diagnose, so as long as your happy with it and it works ok, best leave it be.

But it could be a stiff/binding pedal, master cylinder, slave cylinder or presure plate.
