    What power and what 0-60?

Right I've decided to get these few mods to accompany my current mods but I want to know what my bhp will be roughly and also what my 0-60 time should roughly come down to (just for bragging rights lol not to race)

    Mods:

    EDS Stage 2 (Intercooler etc)
Pre-cat removal replaced with straight through pipe
    Remus performance exhaust
    BMC CDA
Larger intake (Obviously cos of the BMC)
    Samco hoses
    Power Pipe
    Dump Valve

I'd guess at 260bhp and a 0-60 of 5.5secs ... is this about right? I'm sure theres people on here with those mods ... what is your BHP and what would u guess your 0-60mph is?

IMO - you will do well to get any astra to do 0-60 in under 6 secs. Maybe im wrong.

I not convinced by the sealed airbox systems such as BMC and Viper, a near std 888 put out more power with a modified airbox and panel (ramair) than a BMC.

I did once manage to get a 5.8 with my 888 using the onboard timer on a level road. Majority of the time it was 6.2-6.3 on average.
Used to try it every other day on my way to work at Castle Donington!

Yea but the 888 has a fancy backbox too. Anywayz I had the derestricted airbox + veccy C intake and pipercross panel filter and the BMC is miles... MILES better.

Its Torque that gets your going, BHP for top end, 0-60 in under 6 will be difficult, a perfect run might dip under 6 secs. You'd be lucky at 260bhp too

Scott, Ive just got my precat and sportscat to go on, and my air and exhaust system will be complteley free flowing. I'll let you know what performance figures I get in a few weeks when she's on the roller. I like you will be going for the intercooler and software upgrade, but no more, things start wearing too easy

BMC gives less power than airbox with panel, this was proven with similar spec 888's with airbox giving 3-4 bhp over BMC.

Ask Scottboy/GSI Lady for the figures or look in previous posts.

Im curious how the BMC will give less power than the airbox and panel filter

A: The BMC has a larger intake
    B: It's enclosed
    C: It's got a K&N style filter inside

I have had both and sorry but the BMC feels alot more torquey.
