Any Vauxhall technicians out there - seatbelt help needed.

    Hi,

After a domestic accident involving superglue and a large number of swear words, I need to replace the driver's seatbelt in my new Sport Hatch.

I can get the belt for £70, which is better than I expected, but I wanted to fit the belt myself to avoid Vxl labour charges if at all possible.

Only thing is, I'd rather know what I'm doing before I start, rather than unscrewing or attempting to remove parts in a haphazard, guessing manner.

Can anyone offer some pointers as to what's involved, even if it's only to advise that it's more complex than simply undoing a few nuts and bolts and may be something best left to the professionals.

    Many thanks

    Andy

    Yeah, but no, but yeah.....

...... but no responses so keeping my fingers crossed that someone with access to the appropriate resources could find out for me if I reposted as a way of gently reminding all of my needs.

Seatbelts are one of the few things that I would leave to the pros. Did you get a quote on it?

    Good luck with it though.
