    how my roof is leaking

every time i go round a corner water is streaming out of my interior light.
also got a wet patch on the roofling by the drivers side A piller

my car has got a sunroof so i imagine that the water is getting in from there is there any way to stop it ie get sills replaced etc and how much is this going to dent my wallet??

a hose has came off the sunroof thats all dead easy to fix just drop the roofling and put the hose back on the sunroof get some pipe clips from B&Q use some glue as well to stick the pipe back on
why your there give the pipes a clean as they might be blocked there is 4 or 6 pipes to do very easy
and the cost about £10 max if you need some new pipe about £20 to £30 its just rubber pipe

Right I'm doing this from memory of a MK3, so it may be a bit different on a MK4.

Open all doors and pull back all the door seals from the top of the frames (inc hatch)
Remove A B anc C pillar trim panels.
    Remove sun visors
Remove interior light and grab handles
Remove trim for sunroof winder and the surround on the actual sunroof

And IIRC it should come out now - be advised it creases very easily so be very very careful with it. It is best to undo everything and lower it carefully. You may need to drop the rear seats and recline the fronts to give yourself more room to play with.

OP did you have any success in fixing this problem.

I though my problem had gone away till yesterday when it bucketed down the water came flying out of the interior light again.

    Am getting sick of this.
