    Rear Pads - Astra G

My rear pads are going to need replacing pretty soon.

    Is this an easy job?

    Car is an SRI Turbo.

Any info would be very helpful.

    Thanks

Might be worth pointing out that (as stated in the Haynes manual and as several members here will attest to), you should loosen the bleed nipple and clamp the brake line when pushing the piston back. If you just push the piston back in there is a chance that you could damage the master piston.

    you will need
    1 set of pads
    1 piston twist tool
1 11mm brake spanner for the bleed nipple
some copper grease for the back of the pads
a bit of pipe to bleed the brake's
and about 20 mins a side
and a friend to help bleed the brakes
the tool will look a bit like this
