    High Level Brake Light Trim Removal

    Does anyone know how to remove the interior trim on the high level rear windscreen mounted brake light?

    I would like to get rideof the small collection of dead flies which are starting to gather in there !!

    Remove the panel behind the number plate - about ˝dozen torx screws and pull off (normal door card type trim clips), then pull off the trim on the vertical sides of the rear window. then undo the two torx screws on the 3rd brake laight

    you may break the clips, but these are pence to replace from vxl

    You're more lilkely to break the recess on the trim that hold the clips rather than the clip itself.

    Whether you break antything or not is down to you

    I fitted an "astra" 3rd brake light cover by simply using the age olde "pull/twist" method, I didnt brake anything but you could do if your too harsh
    Just take your time and be carefull and itl all pop back into place....
