    Cool 308mm conversion at last

    Apart from the new discs which I will be collecting from LMF tomorrow, I now have all the parts to convert my standard 256mm setup to 308mm.

    I decided to go for the red dot slotted 4 stud discs, work out around £155.

    Going to try and get time off work this week to fit everything as I would like to have ago at doing the job myself. The bodyshop I use said I can use their ramp and will help out if I get stuck, hay ho it`s off we go.

    Will look great behind the 18`s as well.

    Pics wil be posted when the jobs done and I`ll try and take some work in progress pics.

    Will do. Got back to work tonight and sorted all the bits. Spoke to the guy where I take my car and I can get the job done this week no problem.

    Just got to go back up the M1 tomorrow to LMF, Clean and paint the calipers and that`s it.

    I will have great pleasure in throwing the tiny old discs away.

    Thanks, I`m trying not to spend too much on the engine, brakes etc at the moment as it will all be changing soon when I put a new engine in.

    I just can`t stop though.

    Buying the engine is the easy part, it`s getting it fitted that`s the hard and expensive part.

    Ah yeah, easy for us but not for those without the right contacts !!!

    Astra Sport weekender - COMING SOON, Beer and Food supplied.

    But everyone must bring some tools and must make a contribution to the engine swap.

    Copy and paste your names below;

    LOL

    Better stop now as I can see this post getting locked because we`ve gone way off subject.
