    Exclamation VXR on Top Gear

I've just found out the Astra VXR is on TOP GEAR next week it's up against the MK5 Golf gti & Renault Megane 225.
I hope it gets a good write up as i know how much Jeremy Clarkson hates Vauxhall's, and i'm just about to place my order for one.
I know the Sun have just driven it and love it, so hope it's as good as they say. Watch this space!!

Well its only about 100000000% better than the awful mk5 golf,

and it will be better than the renault as they have cheap interiors.

so not much to go on.
Cant Think of Anything Funny To Say

Agree the renault has cheap all over it, but apprently the engine is as sweet as a nut

i dont like new golfs, the Megane 225 still looks wrong from the rear and the VXR is 240 + the Mk5 Sri Z20Net (yes NET) came up in auto express again the new Gol Gti and it had same performance everything was nothing between them so the VXR should do realy well

Having 240bhp does not mean the mk5 will be a sure win. Weight, handling etc will be important too. Bet you it will be clarkson who does the review for the VXR.

Clarkson himself has already reviewed the normal Mk5 SRi and quite liked it here: http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/art...639718,00.html

The Times has just reviewed the VXR although it isn't Clarkson himself here:
