    DVLa people help again

I have been house sitting for the in-laws this week and noticed the other day the tax disc in one of their cars was 09/04 (or 10/04) - texted them and they replied the post office advised them there was a general disc misprint - and that these were valid for 05 and not 04 as stated.

Is the local post office on the fiddle or what?
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

Doesnt sound right, if there was a misprint then the DVLA would have sent out a new tax disc with the correct date stated on it. Best thing to do is to contact your local DVLA office and get it sorted out.

I'm gonna do some phoning on Monday. It must be legit otherwise they would have already had a fone from the DVLA for not renewing the tax disc.
