    interference on screen.......

i tried out my sunvisor screens today and realised there is a tiny tiny bit of interference on them.

i am led to belive this interference is from the engine??????

is there any way to stop this by connecting something up to smooth the signal?

    thanks

    Andy

Only sure way to get rid of interference is to go direct to the battery, you can try different power sources though. I have used supressors when the interference is on the sound but they haven't worked when it's on the screen

I`ve currently got the same problem with a 5" screen that`s mounted in the sat nav console.

Powered direct from the car battery and have a suppressor on the power cable as well but still doesn`t solve the problem.

Hey dudes, just thought i'd help you guys out, to remidy this situation as i have worked with many 5 inch and 7 inch screens, as you know i sell them.
The cable that you use for the video input into the tv will not be sufficiently screened. What screening is to do, is to stop interference on the video signal, its a thin aluminium sheet that goes around wires e.t.c. however some cars give off a lot of electronic interference, so what your best bet is to do, is go into maplin and purchase their best Video cable, with the best screening. If this this still doesnt remedy this situation then its to do with the video source or the screen itself.
    Best of luck mate
