    Question Eibach ??? before i buy

    Hi every 1 im a bit confused at wat weight is wat im about to purchase my lowering springs from lmf Eibach Performance Spring Kit - Astra G 30 mm

    but which weight do i go by the pannel on the door reads as follows

    1 670 kg
    2 820 kg

    1-0875 kg
    2-0820 kg

    Also wat tools do i need to change myself or i might get a garage to do them

    Just quote those numbers to LMF and they'll sort you out with the right ones.

    And see the 'How-To's' (again ) for guidance on changing them - or treat yourself and your car to a Haynes.

    i have read the how toos and i carnt find a Haynes manual local for the astra the how tos dont state wat tool you need a picture on the how tos to compress the springs would help a little

    Try the local library for a Haynes - they usually have a good stock of various ones, or can get it you from another branch (or even order it for you) if they don't have it.

    To compress the cprings - you need a suspension spring compressor - easily available form any Halfarts or motor factors/accessory shop.
    Plus you'll probably need some torx sockets for the rear shocks - you should be able to get these from the same place you get the compressors from.
    And a torque wrench would be advisable, get get all the fixings to the correct tightness.

    The tools you need for compresing the spring's, you can get from hallfrauds about £20.00.
    The backs take about 15 mins a side just undo to bolt's front's are a little more involved.
    Still very easy to do just make sure you get your tracking done
