Exclamation BMC Universal Carbon Dynamic Airbox?

I was looking at placing this into my car BMC Universal Carbon Dynamic Airbox. But I not shore which size to get, I emailed them the spec of my car and the told me to : -

    Hi,

The air box units are universal and available in different sizes. Please measure the air inlet on your car (where you want to put the filter) and come back to me with the size.

What do I have to measure, I dont want to start taking things apart ATM.

Before u go and spend nearly 200 quid (is it?) on ur airbox, u can get replicas on ebay and in halfords for 70. My mate bought one for his turb'd astra a couple of weeks back. Pretty good

the only problem with this site is that 90% of the cars are Mk4 which is a differnet engine than the one in the Mk3, all I need to know is the size of a Mk3 air inlet?

Just been on the BMC website - the only one they show for the mk3 is a panel filter. I thought they would at least say which one you would need - it does for the mk4..

And i dont know anything about the inlet size on a mk3....sorry

The kit is a Universal fittment so its not made for a Mk3 or even a vauxhall but any car that can fit it aslong as its the right size and thats what I'm trying to find out.

    size
    70mm OUTLET
    85mm OUTLET

    option
    >1600CC
    1600CC>

the size im not shore about and the option I think I need the >1600CC as my car is a 1600CC or 1598CC or what ever the offical spec is...
