    Bloody speed bumps!

I have a "51" REG ACT which is totally standard at the moment, standard suspension everything.

Went shopping with the wife last week bought a fair bit of stuff and filled the boot up, on the drive back there is quite a few speed bumps to negotiate!, well pi**ed off every single speed bump made the car ground out on the rear. I was taking it carefully over them all and the car just couldnt handle it .

Anyone else's car do this? remember it is standard.

You should try the speed humps in Sutton Park. There so high standard cars ground without anyone in them. My mate has lowered his car and we had to all get out before he could negotiate them. Aber university speed humps tore off my bros stainless steel performance exhaust system straight off. (With no one in the car but my bro).

There a bloody pain in the @rse. There not evern in sensible places like infront of a school or by a local park. (In my area anyway). Just bloody stupid!!!

FYI if you have a SRI or SXI you'll be running 20mm lower than standard suspension, maybe the cause of your woes.

sounds like you have some particulary nasty speed bumps over your way,
can you not just take a different route home?

sounds like angry letter time to your MP and council folks.
