    dvd player help needed

i have got a pioneer 8400mp head unit and just recieved a Arkon RDS Car DVD/CD Head Unit CH688R today and wondered how i can link these two together to run the dvd player as an aux on my cd player.

what would i need to do this?

and also i have got 2 sunvisors with built in screens and the dvd player hasnt got enough sockets for the wires to plug into. how can i get around this?

    Thanks in advance, Andy

Have you got a CD changer ?

If not then you can buy this:
    Clickety Click

    For £20...an Aux-in adapter.
If you have got a CD changer you need to buy the pioneer cdrb20
    Clicky
    Although that's £80

Not sure on the screens....you have 1 output gping to 2 or 3 screens ?

    You'll need something like:
    clicky

The red and white connectors are female....these should plug into either the back of the DVD player...or connectors coming out of DVD player.

ok that helps a lot. the connectors on the back of the dvd player are female ones like the ones in the picture so am i correct to say i just need a male - male connector for each one to connect it all up?

another question i got is how do i get power to the dvd player?

do i need to use the wiring loom that came with it?

also how do i get power to the 2 sunvisor screens?

i have got the audio and video stuff sorted now so all ihave to do is order the wires and connectors.

    sorry about all the questions.

Autoleads do a cheaper version, only a tenner, does the same job as the pioneer one.
