What drop can you get on a spring kit?

I'm thinking about lowering my sxi, but I don't want to spend a fortune so I was just going to get replacement springs. The only ones I've seen are a drop for 40mm, but is it possible to get lower than that?

If you go over 40mm on standard springs, your shocks wont last 5 minutes.

-40mm is the lowest you can go with standard shocks - so f you want to go lower you've got to look at changing the shocks as well. Which will obviously bump up the cost accordingly.

Isn't there something else I need to change too? Bump stops or bushings or something?

no - springs will swap like for like as long as you don't go lower than -40mm. But it is a good idea to put new bumpstops on while it's in bits if you think your existing ones are particularly tired
