New wheels arrived - peed off

Well they eventually got me, despite the company using the wrong name and postcode. I went to put themon and it seems the rod which the wheels go on is pushing the centre cap out.

Am i right in thinking I need wheel spacers? Pretty pi*ssed because the company did say to me they will be ready to fit straight on as I need them for a journey to Milton Keynes next week.

Try the other way - fit the hub spacers to the hub, then fit the wheel over the top - sometimes the centre hub spacers are very tight.

What offset(ET) are the wheels? This could explain a lot.

Id never buy wheels from mail order, unless I had them tried on my car first, it really is a bit of a gamble

what make are the wheels ? I think I read somewhere that they were boss ?

When i bought mine from PVD they were supplied with the wrong spiggot rings so a quick call to boss and they sent me out the proper ones the next day - might be worth giving em a ring they are really helpfull....

An offset of ET42 is not a bad offset, standard is ET49 so it's a 7mm difference....I have had ET35 wheels on my vectra(and still have) and astra without problems....as for the spiggot rings, this is not going to make a bit of difference in this case as the do not space the wheel outwards, the space they wheel to the hub i.e. diameter....

Do you have caps over the hub nuts?
