There seems to be some sort of concert on the telly?

Im very much enjoying Pink Floyd at the moment. I think its been very impressive all round and certainly got the message accross to a LOT of people.

Floyd are always brill -and especially so with the return of Mr Waters.

A lot of the earlier acts IMO were very poor - probably overwhelmed by the event

    Highlights for me were:

    Richard Ashcroft with Coldplay

    Peter Kay

    The Who and Pink Floyd.

Saw up to REM, then when i got back in saw The Who, Pink Flloyd and Sir Paul.

Though U2 were excellent, but should have been on later in the bill.

Coldplay were there usuall excellent selves, i can't believe Richard Ashcroft came in too early in his own song. Saying that, it'll have been a while since he's sung it.

Was interested to watch REM as i'm going to see them on Wednesday.

Floyd were absolutley awesome! Sounding just as fresh as ever, apparently they havent spoken in 20years! And only had a rehearsal the day before. They sounded just as good as ever despite though! They deffo did it for me, McCartney were pretty good too though.

And just think how good The Who were with Keith Moon and John Entwhistle. If you want to know buy the extended Live at Leeds CD.

From what I saw most of the crowd looked bored stiff until Robbie Williams came on.

    So

    Maddonna
    Robbie Wiliams.
    The Who
    Pink Floyd

The rest should not have bothered, thats from watching from about 6pm.

They had Steve White drumming for 'em last night, normally Paul Wellers drummer, and brother of Oasis' drummer Alan White.
