    Doubt it very much.

Firstly, chickens prefer to walk than fly as they really aren't that good at it. If they were they'd all escape from the farms PDQ.

Secondly - I've hit a duck (similar sixe and weight to a chucky) at 80mph, in pretty much the same place and it just bounced of the windscreen, just leaving a trail of duck pooh on the screen and over the roof. Pheasant (larger than a chicken) do pretty much the same.

As the widscreen is raked, you just get a glancing blow, unless porsche windscreens are really that flimsy

it looks like a phesant m8.....well the remains of it....think of the kinetic energy it was carrying when it went through at that speed, a little more than at 80mph wouldn't you say? lol
Ive had a bird shat on my window at 70mph, and the outcome could have been alot worse than that if i hadnt have been able to squint through and pull up at the side of motorway and wipe it off of the entire right hand side of the windshield lol.

    yeah it's a **** pheasant...........

I once hit a pigeon, but in bounced off the windscreen, skidded along the roof, hit the ariel and i never saw it again.......

and as for rabbits, I tried to avoid one this morn, went to brake - no brakes, swerved and missed it - phew

Agreed 155mph is a fair rate, but on a porsche crockster (as with virtually all modern convertables) the windsreen and surround is a structrual part of the car, and thus should be designed to be inherrently stong.

It just surprises me that a (5lb average weight - just phoned a gamekeeper up to check that) **** pheasant that is well padded with feathers can go through a steeply raked screen and not just bounce off it.

The squirrel is a bloody nightmare - hit one of those and it took my temperature sensor out

Had a pheasant that was hit by one car and then flicked up and landed on my boot spoiler - well painful - got wedged in between the back window and coffee table
