    VXR Insurance

    If anyones interested......been loooking for insurance quotes on the net for my mums corsa when i noticed that the astra VXR is listed on www.admiral.com and www.elephant.co.uk sites.

    if anyone wants to have a play. My quote came to £1600!!!

    When I got my first car, a Vauxhall AstraF 1.4LSi ('93 L) with the C14SE engine, it cost me as a 17 year old student to insure it fully-comprehensive for a year... £2000!!!! Some companies quoted over 4k!!

    Thankfully now have five years no claims, the 1.8SRi cost ~£500 to insure as a 22 year old student.
    Stock car racing - if they get in the way, put them away!!

    well am 28 with full no claims protected and am payin just under £1000 for my 1.8 cabrio (03 plate)!!

    might have something to do with my 6 points tho !!!

    With no claims protection on elephant.co.uk my quote was £577.50 for the VXR. Not much more than my coupe.

    I have had it come in at £501, which is 80 pounds cheaper than my GSI turbo!!!

    My quote was £449 shame i cant get the kids in the back!!
    Ill just have to stick with the Zaf Gsi.

    I just got a quote on the VXR with Elephant for me and the Mrs it was £778.05 & £739.20 from Admiral full comp with protected NCB not to bad really i pay around £650.00 on the turbo cabby at the mo!!
