    thunder

    has anyone got any tips on getting 5 kids who are screaming and crying through the thunder and lighting today i`ve tried really loud music which my mum did but nothings working and i hate it to and i`m having to be brave

    Tell them that the thunder and lighting is just Mother Nature letting out some steam!

    Tell them their tears from crying will act as a lightning conductor and they will all be electrocuted if they continue - that should do the trick.

    I can remember my grandparents unplugging EVERYTHING - TV, Clocks, toasters etc, and covering up mirrors in thunder storms - whats all that about?

    Or one unlucky couple locally here.......its lit up there aerial cable insulation twice.....i always thought the chances of being struck by lightening was low.....but twice within 10 years man.....they must be going at it well.
