    Snowdonia

    Anyone been there before? if so, whats it like for camping and what is there to see and do there?

    Loads of campsites, loads of mountains (and far better than the Lakes IMO).

    As the Snowdonia national park covers 214,159 hectatres there is plenty to see and do. It all depends what you want.

    ive done snowdonia, scarfell pike, ben nevis most of the big peaks. snowdonia is good but for excelent views get ureslf to ben nevis or scarfell pike

    i live about 30 mins away from snowdonia and the views there are stunning but more imprtantly the roads are amazing they r just made for ragging ur astra round ( not that i think that sort of behaviour is acceptable of course ) get ur self there ull have a ball !!!!

    A complete must is to climb Snowdon via Crib Goch, the exposure and view are pretty breathtaking not something to do if you don't like heights though

    I think people are getting Snowdon and Snowdonia confused here.

    Snowdon - (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest peak south of the Scottish border
    Snowdonia - A National park covering a large percentage of North West Wales, of which Snowdon is just a very small part/
