Question Sunday June 26th, first meet?

Sorry for the short notice guys, but anyone up for a meet on the 26th?

Obviously, where we meet depends on who's interested in coming, but I know that the VXSCC SW lot are having their regional meet near Exeter that day, and I'm sure they'd be more than welcome if we made an appearance at some point.

    So anyone up for it?

    Update:

We are meeting at the services on J27 on the M5 around 12.30-1pm. Then going for a 'leisurely' drive to look for a future meeting venue/pub/scenic area for photos!

So if anyone wants to join us, feel free to.

Afterwards, were probably gonna pop down to the SW VxSCC meet near Exeter too.

    No worries mate.

We had a good laugh! I somehow missed an ideal pub, just as we both left the services (god knows how! )

Wittled future locations down to either the pub off J27 on the M5 - (can't remember the name). Ideal location, setting, car park ok in size, food not too pricey, bar staff - ask Vend!!! The other is the Barn Owl in Exeter, again just off the M5. Much bigger car park, not been inside myself, but looks like a Beefeater/Brewers Fayre etc.

But we both agreed to leave it quite flexible and possibly altering it depending on who wishes to come along.

We had a good laugh. Whilst looking for a suitable location to have the meets, we decided to check out a local obelisk (a 50ft high stone pillar on the top of a huge hill). Not only did Mark drive right by a pretty big pub without noticing it, he also missed the obelisk lol.

The pub off J27 was called The Waterloo Inn. Seemed a pretty good place for a meet. Ok size car park, small beer garden, served food and even had a couple noddy's working behind the bar you could sit and laugh at. Watching it take the pair of them to pour each drink was fairly amusing.

With this pub only being 15mins drive from Exeter if we wanted to move somewhere else after everyone met up it wouldn't be a problem.

Looking forward to the next meet
