Help!! - astra turbo warning light

Some of your knowledge is needed here guys, I have a 01 astra coupe turbo and this afternoon whilst having two bicycles on the boot i overtook on a sharp hill (with a crawler lane!!) in second gear, relatively hard, when the car started to lurch and splutter. I let off the accelerator, and slowly crawled up the hill. The dash now has 2 lights permanently on, 1st one is the traction control light, 2nd is the car with a spanner over it, now im not to clued up with cars but the manual says this is to do with the engine and transmission electronics and that the car has switched to limp home mode!!!!
One other thing is the car wont settle on idle drops to 200 rpm then cut out every time i stop.
Now i am a little concerned about this, and until Monday i am helpless, so if there is anyone who could shed any light on this it would be appreciated.........also do i win an anything for the longest thread?

    yep check them all
I've had the 2 lights appear on my dash in the past week due to a pipe coming off during hard acceleration

just to conclude, for reference, it was a faulty air meter.

I was going to say the air meter, classic case for this is for the TC light to come on as well as the management light.

hmmm.....Air Flow Meter....got me wondering, sorry to hijack the thread...

My abs and TC light keeps coming on, I'm convinced it's the speed sensor on the front left cos I clipped a curb when I spun off a roundabout once....another story.

Last night though I overtook a car in 2nd and went for it, immediately the 2 lights came on. I've got an induction kit fitted, do you reckon that could throw up the same errors?
