    Driver's Side Window Smashed

    Having such bad luck

    Had my window down this morning - forgot something - went back to the house - opened door - slammed door - smashed window

    What do I do?

    Insurance again

    Sorry to hear that babes, bummer ! Cant believe a new window would be massively expensive, maybe worth getting it done yourself and forget the insurance ??

    Does your Insurance have seperate glasss cover ?

    thats not right at all, can only think something else is "broken" to cause that to happen

    With the grief I had getting a window and fitting it i'd say yes go through the insurance, at least it doesn't effect your NCB

    Your Insurance wont go up if u clam for windows u just have to pay £50 or something like that I had my window put thro on my old car all off the lol and it doesn’t effect your insurance

    Sorry to hear about that, the window must of had stayed up, like they do on the coupe from time to time, and mashed when you closed the door. I dont think it would be hard to do yourself, because the window is pillowless, so its just a case of taking the door card off and sliding a new one in. But if your insurance covers it, just let them do it, its much less hastle

    Insurance is only usually Windscreens though as far as I know. Don't know if it applies to other parts of the car. Ring Autoglass and see what their price is.
