    Yesterdays purchase,

the GF has wanted a new car for a while and after she decided to look for a new Corsa C we worked out that they are too expensive for what they are (around £5500 would get a 1.2 sxi) so she started looking for a Corsa B,

    This is what we got,
its a 2000, 1.4 16v sport, which is quite nice imo, is in good condition with a couple of little marks but thats to be expected really, it runs really well, and has a fair few little gadgets like electric windows/mirrors and even air con,

She did have a cavalier 1.8 LSi but was far to big so the corsa suits her perfectly,

Shes even decided she wants to mod it after seeing some nice ones at PVS, tinted front and rear lights along with some nicer alloys, lowering and tinted windows are all be pallned on, but now have just stuck to debadgeing the rear and ording some chrome interior bits,

    Nice one

I had a Corsa C as a courtesy car once and found the pedals really springy. Are they like that on the B?

no pretty much the same as the astra tbh, only diff is the accellerator is quite stiff,
i guess could just need some oil/grease on the joint or something?

ive had a quick drive in it and a part from nearly killing everyone in the car but not seeing a car in my blind spot before pulling out it was a nice drive,

i was expecting it to have a little more "poke" but still goes well,

im surprised that according to parkers it only gives the same MPG as my astra does tho,

Yep, the Corsa B speedos do over-read quite a bit

When we had the green one I was being followed by my missus, my speedo was showing 75 mph and her Corsa was saying it was nearer 90 mph
