    Door lighting

Has anyone added lights to their doors? Guess you could call them kerb markers. Would be so cool to have one underneath as well as the little read ones like on the Scorpio!

Might try this, love the lighting mods…

IIRC Ffoeg had to run a wire from the door into the car, to link up with the interior light.

That is a pain, and the only thing stopping me doing the same mod.

Sir Keif remembers correctly - the elec feed is already in the door, but you've got to get the neutral up and round to ther rear courtesy light to have them behave like all the others - fade in and out etc.

Is that a side repeater you hav fitted there?
Also, I have had an idea for getting wiring into doors, as I too want to add custom lights (not quite like that.) My idea was - since I have already run phat speaker cabling from my amp into the door speakers (via drilled holes) the OEM speaker wiring is kinda spare. So my idea is to cut into them inside the car somewhere, and then wire them to whatever inside the door.

    Has anyone done THAT?
