If I was you I would start off with derestricting the airbox, veccy c pipe, k&N panel filter, then change the spark plugs, oil and filter, fuel filter.

if you wanted more, you could go for a full exhaust, de-cat, inlet and outlet manifolds, cams, chipping etc.

Or even go for a bigger step - zlet conversion, v6 conversion, or bolt on turbo kit etc, Money is the only limit mate!

If you really want a lot more power then your prob better of selling and getting a better base car with more power to start.

wouldn't have the money for an engine conversion just yet, but would love to do the z20let conversion in a few years, is the engine mounts in the same place in the two engines/chassis?

What do you mean by derestricting the airbox? what do i take out? I could be tempted with the vectra C intake pipe though!

One thing with the de-restrict guide, I found i had to just skim off the lugs on the pipes with a nice sharp knife. No way could I get the pipes to squeeze enough to be removed.

you dont need to cut any lugs off. i used a big screw driver to push it in and some brut force and wiggly.

the top pipe is easier to remove than the bottom so i suggest starting with that one first.
