    Changing a gear knob

How do you remove the existing gear knob?? I have been told you just have to twist it off, but i have tried that and it didnt budge at all. Dont really want to start getting too heavy with it until i know thats what i have to do. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

it takes a bit of force but if you twist and pull at the same time it should come off eventually.

Don't twist it, you risk breaking th gear linkage.

    Just pull it striaght up.
