Best stuff to clean alloys ?

Got a few areas where dirt and brake dust is proving difficult to remove, particulary in the corners where spokes met the rim. Anyone got any good tips on how to shift it ?.

    cheers

    awkward spots...

try Eagle1 A2Z, spray on, rinse off. Do again but use a brush (an old clean paint brush for ex) to agitate the spots not cleaned. Don't let it sit for too long before rinsing, its quite strong stuff...

if that don't do it... i use my plan B

try using an old cotton dish cloth (ie. disposable!!!). Put some paint cleaner (eg. meg's step 1 etc...) or all purpose cleaner (simple green etc...) on a tip with one or 2 fingers wrapped within the cloth & see if you can coax it off... a bit of pressure should work it out...

then seal the wheels with a polymer sealant as it lasts heeps longer than a wax & makes washing / cleaning your wheels easy in the future
