    Unhappy lumpy tickover

when my coupe turbo is ticking over its like she's missing.took it to a
local garage and they said it was the idle speed control valve.i then
to it to my vauxhall dealership and they said you dont have an idle
speed control valve and the they were'nt sure what it might be even
with full diagnostic.it only occurs on tickover?

    any idea's PLEASE

    dirty trottle bodies

i had this on my 1.6 16V got the trottle bodies cleaned and the ECU reset on problem solved

cost me £15 at my local vaux dealer but that was because i had the cambelt done at the same time so since i was spending £235 in the first place an extra £15 didn't really make much difference

    lumpy tick over you say,

    1. get iradium tip spark plugs (do a search for them youll get the part number)

    2. could be MAF sensor gone t*ts up (£90 or there abouts, may aswell buy a few they are made of paper) id still try no.1 first

    3. never believe vauxhall they cant tell there ar*e from thier elbow, do option 1 first

    4. i think a diagnostic is useless unless you have the engine management light on, carry out step 1

    5. as far as ive heard the turbo engine doesnt suffer from dirty throttle body, whats gonna stick to it when the air is being forced passed at 9psi lol try step 1 first lol

    6. finally try posting in the z20let & c20let part of the forum you may get a better responce mate, its specified for turbo engines.

honestly try the spark plugs, they cost about £40, but imo its the best mod for your engine it drives so much smoother with them in there
