had car in for MOT and it needed some new pipes as they were corroded, so i got the garage to fit the goodridge braided hoses all round while they were at it, so when went to collect the car they said needed to take off the reducer valves to the rear drums in order to fit the braided hoses and said that i means there is more braking power at the rear end than there should be and i should be more carefull.

so is this dangerous and should i be worried at what they have done?

also i was expecting the brake pedal to have firmed up but its still soft, by this i mean that on my parents zafira as soon as you apply pressure on pedal you start braking, however on mine feels like about an inch of pressure before anything happens which i thought the hoses might have helped out on.
