Black cars I LOVE them but hate them

Does anyone have the same problem.
I own a black SXI which I have to clean every weekend.
Every sunday I wash chamois, wax, hoover, the worx and looks bute when finished.
But after I spend hours doing all this it P**ses down with rain right after im done.
The main question is I drive 300 miles a week and by friday my car looks like its done a day rallying the car is coverd.
I look at other black cars and they are never as bad as mine.
Am I the only one or does black car drivers have the same problem.
IVE TRIED EVERYTHING. is there anything to stop this at the moment im trying meguires wax.

you need to get a very slick finish. Sure it will still get dirty but less of the crap will stick.

took me ages to get my mx5 to a stage where the crap didnt stick to it.

meguires should work, just plenty of coats.
    im bored !

My old Golf GTI was a solid black (not pearlescent like new cars) and it was a ball ache to clean and keep clean, but the more layers of polish it has, the cleaner it stays

i have a black sxi and i know just how u feel ive just brought some new polish its called auto glym supreme. its briliant and gets rid of most of the swirl marks you can see in the paint and also a microfibre cloth for final buffing and it looks perfect and yes the muck still sticks to it but its better. but if u dont want to spend this much on polish but auto glym super resin thats also very good but the micro fibre cloth is an essential on all dark cars for that perfect show room shine

'Meguiars Quick Clay' mate, will bring your paint to a very smoooothe finish and will
prevent dirt from sticking, only needs to be done twice a year, also comes with a
bottle of Quick Detailer (acts as a lubricant for the clay) which is brilliant for mid week
purposes (in your case). Spray on and wipe over with a soft terry towel.

    In order...
    - Wash
    - Dry
    - Clay
    - Polish
    - Wax (NXT Tech Wax ''all the way!'')
    - Buff

Mid week (if dusty, not dirty!)
    - Spray Quick Detailer on one panel at a time
    - Wipe over whilst still wet with a soft cloth gently
    - Then buff (double check for dirt 1st!) using clean soft cloth

    Hope this helps.

yeh as darren says get the meguiars and keep ur missus none the wiser as she'll soon divorce you with the money you'll spend.

Have a look at longer lasting wax's like collinite or even try sealents as they are more slick in many cases?
