    Arrow my Astra G SRi on the rollers

    attended a RR day at Dastek today with a few others from MIGWeb. Ran my completely standard X20XEV.







    figures were 143.9bhp and 135.7lb ft

    Nice 1.
    Always wondered what a standard x20xev would get.

    Now go get some mods and do it again and we'll see the difference it makes.

    It did much better than mine did! Mind you, after the event there was some dispute over the accuracy of the rollers so I'll have to get a 2nd opinion one day.

    Nice one though Col, gotta be pleased with that result.

    tbh I'm not really that bothered about the headline numbers.

    Going by the values and the shape of the curves it indicates the engine is operating pretty much as expected. The RR guy said it was running a wee bit rich top end but he added that's not unusual and nothing much to worry about. I was also pleased to note there was absolutely zero smoke coming from the exhaust during the run right up to the limiter.

    Looking at that result, I feel more gutted as I had a the same motor but modded and I only ran 131bhp

    that at the fly or wheels?? as mine got 133.9bhp at wheels 147.8 @ fly (same engine )

    Full catback exhaust system, derestricted airbox, NGK Iridium Spark plugs, Pipercross Panel Filter. Id even had the car tech 2 to the latest software update two days before the RR. All that money spent for nowt

    I wanna do mine now! ive got standard X20XEV apart from derestricted air box and an ecotec valve.

    Big_Col: did you run with normal unleaded or shell optimax/ BP ultimate?
