    coilovers / konis on a mk3

i know alot of you have had mk3 astras before but ive also noticed ALOT of people going for koni adjustable / coilovers on there mk4's!! my mate has coilovers on his focus and its not a bad ride at all but im unsure if to get a 40mm drop on my car as i travel to and from france a fair bit adn want some sort of comft!!

so what do you lot think-------- is there much differance between the coilovers and koni's or shall i just get the good old 40mm drop due to travelling alot??
